On my first project with Black & Decker WM425 Workmate, I used the workmate to convert an old built-in ironing board into a spice rack. I have used workmates before and this product performed equally well as older units. It was quite useful in holding irregular shaped products for sawing, sanding and finishing.

This was one of those random gifts a family member gave me for Christmas. I already had a workbench in my garage and was not sure how useful this "workmate" would be. Oh, how I was ignorant. You can set this up outside to cut down on dust in your garage, cut boards on it, drill holes down through it, use parts as a vise to keep a project steady. This thing has saved my butt on some of the larger projects that having a fixed workbench near a wall would just not allow for.

Pro's: compact, adjustable, portable
Con's: None. You really won't regret the purchase in the long run.
