Moon Longitude = L₀ + ΔL
Where T = Julian centuries from J2000.0. The zodiac sign is determined by dividing the resulting longitude (0°–360°) into twelve 30° segments.
Rising Sign (Ascendant) Formula
LMST = GMST + Longitude (degrees)
Asc = atan2(cos(RAMC), −(sin(RAMC)·cos(ε) + tan(φ)·sin(ε)))
Where φ = birth latitude, ε ≈ 23.44° (Earth's axial tilt), and RAMC = Right Ascension of Midheaven. The result is normalized to 0°–360° and mapped to the corresponding zodiac sign.

Moon Sign Cusp Dates
