1. Who this policy covers

“Toolsnix,” “we,” and “us” refer to the people operating the Toolsnix website at toolsnix.com. This policy applies to the website and its online utilities. It does not control the privacy practices of your browser, email provider, internet provider, hosting provider, or other websites you visit.

We do not provide accounts in the current app source. Tool behavior can change, so check the individual tool page and this policy if a feature starts sending or saving information.

2. Information handled by tools

Most calculators, converters, text tools, and editors run in your browser. Their inputs and results are generally processed on your device and are not submitted to a Toolsnix account or stored in a Toolsnix user profile. Some features need an external request or browser permission:

• The currency converter requests currency codes and a rate from the Frankfurter service. The amount you enter is used for the calculation in your browser.
• The quote tool sends the selected quote category through the app to its quote provider. It does not need your written text to fetch a quote.
• Some media pages load processing libraries and worker files from third party content delivery networks. The selected media is processed in the browser by the tool; using a CDN means your browser requests library files from that provider.
• Geolocation tools ask the browser for your location only after you start the test. If you choose to open a map, coordinates may be included in the map URL.
• The Image Encryptor temporarily keeps its password in browser session storage so it can remain available during that tab session. Avoid reusing an important account password, and clear the tab/session storage when finished.

These examples describe the current implementation reviewed for this policy, not a promise that every present or future tool behaves identically. Review the individual tool instructions before entering sensitive information.

3. Contact messages and technical records

The Contact Us link opens your chosen email application; the current site does not submit a contact form to a Toolsnix form backend. If you email us, we receive the information you include and may use it to reply, troubleshoot, and keep a reasonable record of the conversation. Your email provider handles the message in accordance with its own terms.

Like most websites, the hosting or network providers used to deliver this site may process connection information such as IP address, request time, and requested page in server or security logs. We have not confirmed the deployed provider’s exact logging settings or retention period, so those details should be confirmed with the provider.

4. Cookies, analytics, and advertising

With your permission, this site uses Microsoft Clarity for website analytics, including interaction data such as page views, clicks, and scrolling, and session replay features. Clarity may process browser/device information and page content needed to represent those interactions. Microsoft says input fields and dropdowns are masked by default; avoid entering passwords, private messages, or other secrets into any website.

Clarity is not initialized unless you choose “Allow analytics.” Your choice is saved in this browser’s local storage so the banner does not reappear on every visit. You can decline or change that choice at any time from Privacy Choices. When analytics is allowed, Clarity may use cookies or similar identifiers under Microsoft’s own practices. 5. Why information may be used

Information described here may be used to provide a tool you requested, deliver and secure the website, respond to an email, diagnose errors, or meet a legal obligation. We do not claim that information is used for a purpose unless the relevant feature or service actually handles it.

6. Service providers and transfers

Toolsnix may rely on hosting, network, email, API, and content delivery providers to operate the site or individual features. Those providers may receive technical information needed for the request. Their handling is governed by their own terms and privacy notices. We do not sell personal information through the current app features reviewed for this policy.

7. Retention and security

Tool inputs processed locally generally remain under your browser’s control. Session storage is normally cleared when the relevant browser session ends, though browser behavior can vary. Email and provider logs may be retained by the services involved. We use reasonable care in operating the site, but no website or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

8. Your privacy rights and requests

Depending on where you live and whether the relevant law applies, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, a copy of information, or to object to or limit certain processing. Send a request to codedbyzain@gmail.com and describe the request and the relevant interaction. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where the law allows or requires it. Do not email passwords, financial account credentials, or other highly sensitive information.

Some laws apply only to organizations that meet specific conditions. This page does not determine whether a particular law applies to a particular person or visit.

9. Children

Toolsnix is a general utility site and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent personal information by email, contact us so we can review the request.
