Random Number Generator
Generate integers from a range you choose.

About Random Number Generator
Generate one or more random integers within a minimum and maximum. You can request unique results when the range is large enough; check the displayed validation message if the range cannot meet the request.
How to use this tool
- 1Enter the minimum and maximum values and how many numbers you want.
- 2Turn on No Repeats if each result must be unique.
- 3Generate the list and verify the range and repeat setting before using it.
How the tool works
The page samples integer values between the entered bounds using browser randomness. With No Repeats enabled it avoids adding a value already selected, and it checks the requested count against the available range. It is not intended for cryptographic use.
Worked real-world example
From 1 to 10, asking for three unique values can return 2, 6, and 9; every value stays within the entered bounds.
Common scenarios and use cases
Make a casual draw, select practice examples, or create test values for a non-sensitive task.
Important details and limitations
Random results can repeat unless uniqueness is requested, and the browser random source is not a security guarantee. For lotteries, research, or security, use the required audited method and sampling rules.
Check the output unit as well as the number. If the result will be reused in another calculation, retain full precision where possible and round only at the end. For measurements governed by a technical specification, use the standard and tolerance required by that document.
Frequently asked questions
Are both minimum and maximum included?
The tool treats the entered bounds as available endpoints.
What if I ask for more unique numbers than the range contains?
The tool reports an invalid range or count.
Can I use this for passwords?
No. Use a cryptographic password generator.
